Sandy N Twill gamp from Heather Winslow workshop. Two towels that I did with leftover warp I learned to love my new 16 shaft Ashford.
I used 8/2 unmercerized cotton for warp and weft set at 24 epi for a total of 423 ends plus 2 ends for floating selvedges. We had to use contrasting colors. One side of the gamp was done in color and weave.
The gamp measures 15/34 inches wide by 46 inches long. I did the twill patterns assigned by Heather. We had optional weaves to test after the gamp. There were seven. Broken 1/3 twill, background windows 1/3, 1/3 & basket, 1/3 &2/2, 3/1 & 1/3 straight draw, double weave, and honeycomb. The towels were 15/34 wide by 27 inches and 31 inches long.
